Huawei might not be that huge a player in the world of tablets, but that does not mean being small places one at a disadvantaged position. No sir, Huawei has just announced that their MediaPad is one of the first tablets in the world to ship with Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system right out of the box. Originally sold on the market back in June 2011, the original MediaPad proved to be a world beater by being the first 7″ Android tablet with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, and now the successor to the MediaPad in its latest iteration too, will deliver the most updated Android operating system version.
Apart from that, Huawei also took the opportunity to announce a trio of new colors in the previous MediaPad series, where you will be able to choose from shadow black, classic brown, and passion pink, and all of them will ship with the previous version of Android (Android 3.2 Honeycomb).
