Delhi recorded 5.7 degrees Celsius

It was another chilly morning for Delhiites at the start of a new week, as the capital on Monday recorded a minimum temperature of 5.7 degrees Celsius.An official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, “The minimum temperature recorded was 5.7 degrees Celsius, at least one degree below average.The maximum temperature will hover around 23.7 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal. The sky will be mainly clear during the day," the official added.Delhi also witnessed light fog with visibility down to 500 metres.On Sunday, the city recorded a minimum temperature of 5.5 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 22.7 degrees Celsius.
